Important to understand

Crystal Bro is not a ceramic coating or a polish.

It is a self-leveling treatment that:

  • Visually fills scratches and swirls
  • Adds deeper color and high gloss
  • Lays down as a protective film over the paint/clear coat

After full curing, it is this film that takes the wear and protects the car's original surface.

Must not be used on

  • Wrapping / PPF
  • Existing protection (wax, ceramic coating, etc.)
  • Glass
  • Carbon fiber
  • Interior surfaces

Step 1 – Preparation (Most Important)

The surface must be:

  • Completely clean
  • Completely dry
  • Free from wax, oils, and residue

Wash the car thoroughly and remove any previous protection.

Poor prep is the most common cause of poorer results.

Step 2 – Correct conditions

  • Work in 15–24°C
  • Avoid cold and excessive heat
  • Work on a cool surface

Always start on a smaller area (e.g. a door).
Save the hood for last once you've got the technique down.

Step 3 – Prepare applicator

  • Saturate the applicator thoroughly
  • It should be completely soaked — not dry anywhere
  • Add more product after 2–4 passes

Step 4 – Application

  • Apply a generous and even layer
  • Work with straight passes (not back and forth)
  • Use even, controlled pressure

⚠️ Important:

  • Go over the surface only once
  • If more than ~5 seconds have passed → do not go back
  • Do not overwork the surface

Crystal Bro should not be polished in.
It is self-leveling and should be left after application.

Step 5 – Check

Do you see streaks?

  • Usually too little product or uneven application

Solution:

  • Let the surface cure
  • Apply a new layer if needed

Do not rub during curing.

Step 6 – Curing (48 hours)

For at least 48 hours (may require more in colder environments):

  • Keep the car completely dry
  • Avoid rain, moisture, and snow
  • Do not touch the surface for the first few days

Moisture during curing can cause white or cloudy marks.

Result

After full curing you get:

  • Deeper color
  • Increased gloss
  • Less visible scratches and swirls

On heavily worn paint, a second application may be needed.

Important to understand

Crystal Bro:

  • Restores and enhances appearance
  • Fills scratches visually

It:

  • Repairs not deep scratches
  • Does not work on  damaged paint

How to remove Crystal Bro

If you want to remove the product:

  1. Spray the entire surface thoroughly with IPA (99.5% isopropyl alcohol), then wipe firmly with a cloth. This removes the product completely within the first 30 min; if more than 30 min have passed, see step 2.
  2. Polish off the film that has been laid over the paint/clear coat. In the first few days, a light polish is enough, but if the product has set well, a coarser polish may be needed to remove the film!

Aftercare

  • Do not wash the car for 14 days
  • Avoid chemicals during this period

Important:

Avoid wiping the paint or trying to remove the product before 14 days have passed.
Depending on the environment, the product may need time to set properly.

Cold degreaser:

  • Use with care
  • Max 5–6 minutes per wash

Common mistakes

❌ Too little product → streaks
❌ Too much pressure → uneven results and streaks
❌ Application in cold conditions → poor leveling and rainbow streaks
❌ Application in heat → the product sets too quickly and streaks
❌ Poor prep → worse durability
❌ Moisture during curing → white marks
